Book recommendations
Hey everyone
Since we are still in lockdown and some of you might have a lot of time right now, I have decided to share some of my favourite books that I have read. As I am still a student, it's quite hard to read books throughout the year, but I always try to at least read one book during the summer holidays!
Personally, thrillers are my favourite genre to read. I really like reading about something mysterious that has happend and then finding out 'who has done it' or just finding out a lot more about the situation.
So here are 3 of my favourite books!
The Girl on the train - Paula Hawkins
I have read this book before the film was made and I really liked it. As the title suggests, it's about a girl who takes the train lol. Of course, I won't tell you more about it, but I thinkg it's a really good book. At the end, I could not put it down anymore and before I knew it it was 2 am. I have not seen the movie yet, so I don't know if it is any good, but the book for sure is!
The Woman in Cabin 10 - Ruth Ware
After reading the girl on the train, I was looking for a book that was written in similar writing style and had seen a lot of recommendations about 'The Woman in Cabin 10'. This book really was something else, there were a lot of weird things happening and also the ending was quite weird! Overall, I would say it was really 'weird' and 'mysterious', so if this is your thing, you should definitely give it a go!
The Husband's Secret - Liane Moriarty
Last but not least, I have read 'The Husband's Secret' by the famous author Liane Moriarty last year. I think by the title that you can already think about quite some situations, but it could also be about literally everything. There was less suspense than in the 'Girl of the train' book, but it was also very interesting to read and I was excited to come closer and closer to the 'husband's secret'.
As I don't want to give everything away, I have not told much about the stories. But, they are all very mysterious in their own way.
Stay safe,
