Recipe: Chocolate cookies

Hello everyone! In today's blogpost I'm going to tell you how to bake these awesome Chocolate cookies! I've got the recipe from the famous Youtuber "Zoella" and I think Tanya Burr also uses this recipe. I don't have a lot of baking experience so when I saw ZoĆ« baking these cookies I thought I would give it a go and apparently they are also very yummy ;).
LET'S GET BAKING!

You will need:

200g baking butter
1 large egg
1 bar of white chocolate
1 bar of milk chocolate (you can choose really, but since these are Chocolate Chip cookies I've put chocolate in :P)
75gr cacao powder
300gr caster sugar (in the original recipe of Zoella there needed to be 300gr of sugar, but the first time I made these cookies I thought there was too much sugar in it, so I've put less in it)
275gr self raising flour
2 trays (or more, it depends on how big you want your cookies)
some oil-free paper to put on the trays

So first off I will pre heat my oven at 200 degrees Celcius. Next I will cut the oil-free paper and put it on the baking trays. I prefer to do it at the beginning, but if you want do to it at the end that's all right! It's up to you really.
So of course then I will weigh out all the ingredients and we're starting off with the butter! The butter needs to be at room temperature, otherwise it will be difficult to mix it with the sugar. After mixing the butter with the sugar, you can add the egg. So after that's done you put in the dry ingredients, in other words: the self raising flour and the cacao powder. When all of that is mixed well together, your mixture is done!

But then the fun part comes, when you have to chop up your chocolate bars into tiny pieces. And when that's done I mix them into the mixture that we already made. It's best to do this part with your hands! Next I will make little balls of dough out of the mixture and you have to make sure that in each little ball there are chuncks of chocolate so that every cookie contains an even amount of chocolate chuncks. After that's done you can put your balls of dough on the trays.

Next up I will put these trays (there are two of them) into the oven for about 10 minutes. When those 10 minutes are over and you take them out of the oven you'll see that the balls have spread out and they look more like cookies now! Also, the chocolate will have melted and that's the best part!

FINAL RESULT:
