Review｜The Body Shop Virgin Mojito collection

Hello! In today's blogpost I will be reviewing the body sorbet and shower gel from the Virgin Mojito collection by The Body Shop! Getting a hold of these certainly wasn't easy! I went to 5 different stores and only managed to get 2 shower gels.

The Virgin Mojito collection was a limited edition collection that came out a couple of years ago and it was very succesful. Because of that they decided to bring it out again this year and the same goes for the Pinita Colada collection which was a limited edition collection that they brought out last year. As you know already, I am a huge fan of the Pinita Colada collection so I was happy to stock up again since it's also a limited edition collection this year. I had missed out on the Virgin Mojito collection and since I was such a huge fan of their Pinita Colada collection I decided to try this one out. But god.. it was an adventure! I had managed to get the Virgin Mojito body sorbet, but I also wanted the shower gel and for some reason it was sold out EVERYWHERE. I even went into a store and the girl in the shop told me that someone had bought 12 showergels because apparently it's good against fighting the mosquitos. I don't know if it's true, but the bottle contains lime and mint extracts so I can imagine that it will do a good job at that. My mom gets bitten from mosquitos quite a lot so that's where she got really interested and why we went onto a whole adventure to get the shower gels. Eventually I found a store where they only had 2 of them left and I took them both hehe... So as you can tell to this day it's still a very succesful range.

Now after a little story time, it's time for the review of the products! 

Since body butters can get a little sticky and in the summer the stickiness bothers me more than during the winter I definitely prefer a body sorbet. I really am a fan of this formula by The Body Shop because it's just really cooling and lightweight, perfect for summer! The only thing that I found with this product is that the smell can be a little too strong, but after a while it fades so it's okay. Same for the shower gel, it really is a great product and a great range!
