My Current Makeup Routine | Spring Edition

PRIMER
Before jumping right into the makeup I always apply a moisturizer on my face. Some people will apply a primer after that but I personally don't because of the moisturizer I've already applied. So you could say I'm using it like a primer because I personally don't see the point of applying another layer of primer when you've already moisturized. But do whatever you like! (It's not good to put foundation straight onto the skin so always make sure that you've applied a layer of moisturizer, primer or something else onto your skin.)

BASE
The current foundation I like to use for my everyday is makeup is the Match Perfection by Rimmel. I always suffer from tiny breakouts on my forehead, chin and sometimes nose and this foundation covers that up a tiny bit but not enough and that's just how I like it. I don't mind that my imperfections are showing through most of the time, but sometimes it will bother me and then I use a concealer by Bourjois. To ensure that everything that I've applied as a base stays in place for the rest of the day I will top it off with some powder. The one that I'm currently using is the Hello Flawless! one by Benefit. My everyday makeup routine contains no highlight and no bronzer but it does contain a little bit of blush, I'm using the MAC blush in the colour "Mocha".

EYES
Before applying my eye shadow I'm using a primer by Urban Decay. I had gotten some samples of the Urban Decay eyeshadow primers because of the Naked Palette that I've bought and I really like it. Your eye shadow just won't budge and stay in place for the rest of the day which is AMAZING. So for eyeshadow most of the time I will apply the colour Naked Lunch from my MAC palette all over the lid. It's a champagne/rose colour that's really pretty and immediatly opens up your eyes. If I feel like doing some extra effort and I've gotten a little bit of time left I will use a colour such as "Haux", "Corduroy" or even "Satin Taupe" and blend it into the crease. So to finish the eyes I will take my eyelash curler and of course... curl my lashes. Next I will apply 2-3 coats of mascara, the one I'm currently using is the "Glam&Doll" mascara by Catrice.

LIPS
Last but not least, to finish up the whole makeup look I will use a lipstick by MAC called "Syrup". It's a very natural, pink/mauve kind of lipstick, perfect for everyday!
