L'oreal Extraordinary Clay Shampoo (anti-dandruff) & Conditioner

A lot of people have already tried the Extraordinary Clay range and been loving it.. so here's me trying it out a year later or so. I actually have been postponing this purchase because I already had so many shampoos. But here I am now finally trying out the range! I also got the shampoo in the anti-dandruff formula, I don't know if this is new or not to be honest. 

I always try not to put too much shampoo in my hair since that can lead to dandruff, but every once in a while my hair will get through a "dandruff fase" which I don't really like. But yeah it happens so that's why I like to buy anti dandruff shampoos. Also, on the bottle it says that this shampoo and conditioner are silicone free, which is a good thing, because we want to keep our hair healthy, right? 

On Youtube, blogs, advertisements etc. I have always read that it's important that your shampoo does not contain any silicones. I don't know why but, it's as if I've ignored this? Recently I've been looking on the internet and I have been reading what the pro's and con's are. Afterwards I've immediately checked all of my shampoos and most of them contain "Dimethicone", which is a silicone. On some of my shampoos I have not found this word in the ingredients, but apparently there are thousands of synonyms for the word "silicone", so maybe these shampoos still might contain silicones. I think it's quite sad that they're doing this since silicones aren't good for your hair, but on the other hand I think it's awesome that they're doing something about it now. 

My first impression was that the shampoo & conditioner made my hair feel very soft. I don't want to be negative, but to be honest that's always the case, when trying a new shampoo right? Now I've been trying this shampoo out for about 5 months and I LOVE IT! I have to force myself to use my other shampoos because I just love this combo too much! It makes my hair smell really nice and it also makes it soft like I already said. It's a shampoo that I will definitely be repurchasing (and I might already have done that ;P)
